Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy IPVanish VPN has more than 54 servers in 20 locations around the world. The locations are mostly in Europe, though there are also servers in the U.S., Malaysia, Japan and China. With so many server locations, you can select one that's closest to you, which can help to preserve your internet speed, or you can select a random location each time you use the proxy browser. When you set up the web proxy, it asks if you want to connect to a server manually or if it should automatically connect you to a server. If you choose to connect automatically to one, you can decide which server you use. It gives three options: a server on the list, the one you most recently used or one that's nearest to you.

This proxy service has more than 2,500 IP addresses. This is important because it decreases the chances that Google will block any of the proxy IP addresses because of overuse. As we tested and wrote reviews for proxy websites that enable anonymous surfing, we found that most services only provide a few dozen IP addresses.

When you connect to IPVanish VPN's servers, you can choose to create a virtual private network (VPN) connection via OpenVPN, PPTP or L2TP. OpenVPN is the safest and most secure connection of the three; however, it never hurts to have multiple options. Depending on the type of VPN you select, the tunnel that your data moves through has SSL or TSL encryption. TSL encryption is the stronger of the two options.

The data itself is also encrypted, using 256-bit encryption. This is the most advanced security encryption available. With this level of encryption, though, your data will also move a little slower. This tradeoff may be worth it if you're transporting sensitive information or you just want to be sure that you have the most security possible.

This company doesn't restrict your bandwidth. However, if you use large amounts of data each month, the company may enforce a bandwidth restriction. Keep in mind as well, that you'll still be subject to the bandwidth regulations that your internet service provider enforces. Using a proxy service won't provide you with unlimited internet bandwidth.
